Just got knocked out of a $10+1 tourney, $2.2k for first. Go knocked out in 32nd.



Yeah, most of you probably had this too, it's just so frustrating. It's like tetris game waiting for the damn long piece to come out.

/rant

On to my blog:
In my previous blog, I said I was going to get higher and higher in the cash games. Honestly it hasn't been working out for me. I was playing NL25, couldn't handle it. I started up like 10 buyins, didn't change my style, and I ended up losing all profits + another 10 buyins that went away.

I decided to start playing sngs, and then I was thinking this is not going to lead anywhere, ring games are much more profitable afaik.

Then I started looking at tourneys. I ended up shipping one up thanks again to the help of Bigbobm on here for $2.5k. Probably not that impressive to a lot of you, but for me, first FT win, and winning something over $500 in a tourney.

Now I'm starting to play tourney's a lot more. I have to say, when I played cash games, it wasn't about me playing poker for fun, it was about playing like a robot(Played FR). I found playing tourneys again really brought back me to enjoy poker again, thus creating more motivation.

Hopefully I can ship another tourney soon.

In April, I won a late night $10+1 tourney, with a score of $2.5k. First tourney ever won for me, thanks to much help from BigBob! With that I started to play NL25 FR.

I was running really good, too good to the point where it covered up many of my leaks. The graph you see, as soon as I took a shot at NL50 is where the downswing began.





For this month I got Goldstar, and 1x $50 and 2x $10 Stellar reward bonuses.


My goal for next month is to get PlatinumStar and reach NL50 playing at least 60k hands for the month.
